Hey beauties! So last week, the weather got kind of crazy here in the Northeast. It was disgustingly humid, hot, gross, for the majority of the week. By Friday it seemed like the temperature dropped from 85 degrees to 58 degrees overnight. It was a HARSH reminder that summer is now over, and fall is now here. Now I am all for the booties, the cute sweaters, and the fall activities. But, it is still bittersweet when summer ends.
I guess that we are not forced to prepare for winter. Winter coats, gloves, hats, the whole 9 yards. I want to pretend that winter is not on its way in a few weeks, but it is. UGH! I am going to share with you my favorite picks at all budget levels for winter coats & accessories.
1) Pricer Picks
Now if you live in NYC or the surrounding areas, you probably have heard of Canada Goose & Moncler. These are two, very high quality, perfect for winter, companies that make beautiful winter coats. They are not cheap by any means! BUT, they are worth the investment. Canada Goose has a lifetime warranty. A lot of their coats/parkas are down, and water-resistant as well. I am not a fan of fur, and Canada Goose uses coyote fur for their fur trims. If I choose a Canada Goose, I personally will be getting a fur-free option. Moncler is pricier than Canada Goose, but both will run you a few hundred, or possibly more than a grand. But the quality is excellent, and they WILL keep you warm.
