Hey beauties! This weekend we went to Happy Day Farm in Manalapan (NJ) to visit their sunflower fields. The farm is massive & perfectly tailored to each season. They have apple picking, pumpkins, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry etc (and of course the SUNFLOWERS)! It took a few minutes for my older daughter to get comfortable because of all the BEES! I myself am not a fan of bees, so I tried to secretly stay calm myself, AND comfort her was a little challenging. Eventually she got comfortable enough to take some fun pics! My younger daughter isn’t as aware yet so she loved every minute at the farm. My husband took these pics (Ralph J Photography). It comes in handy having a photographer for a husband (although he will tell you I am his most difficult client EVER!).
Although I am not ready for summer to end, it was nice getting into the fall spirit in the sunflower fields. Soon it will be time for apple & pumpkin picking and hay rides! I am enjoying every last second with my babies before the craziness of a new school year starts.
Here are some of my favorite shots from our time at the sunflower fields:
I really love the girls outfits & accessories we did for these photos!
The link for the girls 3-piece outfits can be found here!
These are the links for our headbands:
My shorts were by Kut From The Kloth (Catherine model) & flip flops were from Target last summer so I included some similar styles! My tunic tank was also from last year so I included some similar styles!
I loved our boho style outfits. I always say I was born in the wrong era. I should have been born in the late 50s so I could have grown up in the 60s & 70s. I would have totally been a hippie chic & then a disco girl! I would have went to Woodstock & then Studio 54 a few years later. That would have been glorious but for now once in a while I can play dress at least!
How was your LDW? What did you do?

BEEautiful pictures! 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
How long are the sunflowers in bloom. Do you know if it’s doable on crutches? I’m so bummed to have to miss it.

I think it MAY be doable! It’s a short walk from parking lot to the field. It will be there until the end of October!
