The Roaring Twenties Are Here….Let’s Start The New Decade Off Right!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I cannot believe 2020 is actually here. It is hard to believe that all of my grandparents would be turning 100 some point this decade. It’s crazy that I will be married 10 years this year! I am in shock at how fast my babies are growing up & how time just seems to be going too fast.
I want this year to be GREAT! Honestly, I am not a resolution maker. BUT, I am all for new goals & dreams, more things to accomplish!
SELF-CARE:
Let us start this year (and decade) off right with a good head on our shoulders. Take some pressure off of ourselves. Let us know it’s OKAY to say no, to change our minds, to take care of ourselves! Moms feel guilty for soooo many things on a day to day basis. We feel guilty to say no, we take on too much. We put ourselves last all the time.
A healthy woman is a healthy mom & a better Mom! Take time for yourself. Whether its something small like a manicure or something bigger like a girls weekend (or night out) DO IT! Make the time, find the time. You will be happier & you will be a happier Mom!
GOALS:
What do you want to accomplish this year? For me, travel is a huge goal of ours this year. We want to travel to more places we have not been with our girls yet. We have 2 major trips planned & working on smaller ones to fill in the rest of the year.
Professionally, I want this year to be my biggest year of earnings yet! I am so lucky I get to work from home, & help support my family. I want to start saving for home projects we want to do around our house! Last year I had an assistant for a good part of the year & need to find a new one to help with my workload.
Most people close to me do not know how much work goes into running my business, all the parts involved, & I am sure most people feel like 24 hours in a day are just NOT enough to feel like you got everything done. Hiring help & growing my brand, & continuing to increase my income are my major goals!
Most women start of the year wanting to eat better & workout. My health is something I probably ignore more than I should. I wait so long to go to the doctor when I am sick, because…well mom life! I’m always running around & not worrying about myself. I am trying my best to make my health much more of a priority this year!
What are your goals, dreams, & hopes for the new year?
