Hey beauties! This weekend was my little one’s birthday. It is so incredibly bittersweet when our kids grow up. We get to watch them grow, speak more & more, develop their personalities, what they like, what they don’t. But then we get to see that they aren’t little babies anymore, and that part makes me sad. Thank goodness she still loves to kiss, cuddle, snuggle, & all of the sweet things that will devastate me when they stop (hopefully they never will).
I wanted to share some photos from her birthday photo shoot. We took these photos at Sandy Hook Beach in NJ. The shoot worked perfectly, perfect day, perfect weather. The theme of the pictures as well as the birthday weekend was baby Moana. I loved this theme because Moana is a common theme, but not baby Moana. Her outfit was amazing, she just looked so cute I could eat her up.
On her actual birthday she had a party in her mommy & me class. Followed by dinner & dessert in Red Bank, NJ (it feels like Red Bank is becoming our 2nd home). The next day was her party, attended by 36 of her closest friends! Yes thats an insane amount of children (and parents). BUT we are blessed that we have so many close friends that wanted to celebrate our baby girl. She had a great time & so did our guests!
Now I have six months until the OTHER princess in my life’s birthday. She already said she wants an all-girl Fancy Nancy party! I am thinking something with a runway, manis, fancy hair etc. As soon as I finish planning one party, its right on to the next one!
