Last weekend my husband & I were invited to come check out Island Spa & Sauna, in Edison New Jersey. We love a good day spa & this was already on our list of places to visit so this was a day we were SO excited about. We had been to other Korean Day Spas, but this one quickly became our favorite!
When we checked in, we were given our keys for the day which are good for the shoe locker, and the regular lockers. The spa is barefoot (with amazing heated floors) or socks! I opted for barefoot because the floors were sooooo warm and toasty.
We then went into the regular lockers and changed (separated by gender, and each area contains same-gender baths that you can enter from the locker room). You are given a towel and uniform to change into! The locker area has beautiful vanity areas to get yourself ready after you are done for the day.
When you head into the main area, you can choose from one of the different saunas, the sleep room (HEAVEN for a mom who never sleeps), multiple lounge areas, and the spa areas! There is also a delicious juice bar, and dining area with the most delicious Korean menu!
While my husband tried every single sauna available, I got a Swedish massage. I am going to tell you something right now about this massage. My massage with Lisa was the best massage I ever got, in my ENTIRE life! I always thought my favorite massage was years go in Vegas. Lisa knocked that one down to second. I loved that the massage incorporated so much stretching into it. I felt so good after the massage. Less tense, way more relaxed, and it was just beyond incredible! I ran and texted my friends after to let them know that we HAVE to come back here!

I am already planning many visits back it was so fantastic, and again, that massage, was INCREDIBLE!
