If you have been following me for a while, you know that my family LOVES to travel. We believe in giving our girls valuable experiences through travel, & believe how strongly it strengthens our own family bond. We take many weekend trips, and 2-4 long vacations a year. Memories that we make as a family are just priceless & cannot wait to add more new places to our family travel experiences.
Traveling as a family has not been too stressful. We started with travel to Aruba when my oldest was 15 months. It SOUNDS super stressful but it doesn’t have to be if you are organized & make life easier on yourself where you can.
I keep a packing list in my phone that I always check off for travel (if there is interest in this I can post it at another time). I also have an additional packing list for Disney (because Disney is a whole other set of packing necessities).
There is also certain travel items I keep in my travel bag so that they are ALWAYS on deck for when we travel & I won’t have to remember to pack them. These are the items I am going to share with you today! They are the permanent staples for travel to make you comfier, and ready to go!
- Makeup Storage – I actually travel so often that I have a totally different set of makeup for travel so I do not have to remember to pack everything for our trips. BUT either way this is a perfect way to keep your makeup safe and organized for travel!
- PACKING CUBES – I cannot stress enough that these are a PACKING LIFESAVER! Everyone in my family has a different set (and a different color). It makes packing SO MUCH EASIER, SO MUCH MORE ORGANIZED! This particular set I picked because it also comes with a laundry bag in each set! BONUS!
- Makeup Brush Storage – I all my brushes in here for my makeup so it is not all over the place. I keep the brushes all in once place and easy to throw in a bag! This would be good for at home too!
- Neck Pillow – This one is memory foam and so comfy and adjustable so perfect for keeping cozy on the plane!
- Eye Mask – This eye mask is so silky & cute!
- Oxygen Bubble Mask – I have been using this for years. Perfect for washing away the yucky plane germs & refreshing your skin!
- Toiletry Bag – I love a hanging one so it hangs down right on the hook in the hotel. I love keeping different things in the different sections, face stuff in one, toothpaste etc in another, body wash etc in another.
- Portable Charger – This is a MUST HAVE for travel. Especially for Disney when you are out all day. I love this one so much & it works perfect!
