Brows & lashes are majorly “IN” right now. I have always loved long, thick eyebrows. I got mine microbladed over the summer & am IN LOVE with my results. Read about that experience here!
After I got my brows beautified, it was time to move on to my eyelashes. Lash extensions are gorgeous. My sister had gotten hers done & I was just obsessed with them every time I saw her. I really wanted them for myself. My sister left hers on for a few months but then got sick of the maintenance & removed them. I told her what to use to regrow her lashes (I’ll get to that in a minute). She tried it & within weeks her lashes were back to normal (she had long lashes to begin with).
Now I wanted to get my eyelashes done & she told me not to. I didn’t listen & partnered with a new, local, eyelash shop near my house to get mine done. I loved them, like really really loved them. BUT they didn’t make me as happy as I had hoped for a few reasons.
I felt like I wanted the eyelash extensions to lesson my routine in the morning. I no longer had to fill in my eyebrows, now I wouldn’t need to apply mascara either! With all the photoshoots I do, whatever says some time in the glam department is SO worth it. However I didn’t feel like I was saving time. I was so careful washing them in the morning (& night) that it was taking me way longer than it was to just apply mascara. After cleaning them I had to wait for them to dry before brushing them. This to me was disheartening because I really wanted a quicker routine, & it became longer.
The other problem was my instructions said to sleep basically on your back. I can’t do that. I sleep on my side & I HAVE to sleep on my side or I won’t sleep.
The last problem was the maintenance. I am a busy BUSY BUSY busy BUSY BUSY mom of 2, who helps her husband run a photography business, who has her own business & her own networking group. Do I really have the time to get these filled every 2 weeks? The 3 week mark was not working out for me, too many fell out.
So it was just not meant to be. I had them removed & while it made me sad, I really felt relieved like instantly. So now the eyelash extensions are off & now my eyelashes are non-existent, totally short.
Before I put the lash extensions, I had used one product to grow my lashes & it worked FABULOUSLY. That product is GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum found here.
I use this every day, ONCE a day, just ONCE. I use it at night after I shower. My lashes were regrown, repaired, & long again after 2-3 weeks. Once your lashes get to a length you are happy with, you can switch to maintenance & use it every other day.
An other product I used to regrow & repair my lashes post-lash extensions is BBB London Luscious Lash Oil found here.
I apply this oil combination to my eyelashes each morning before I apply mascara. It really has helped to get my lashes healthy again after the damage that lash extensions cause.
The final product I used to repair & regrow my lashes was Seacret’s mascara (the curved brush). After I saw how long my friend Graziana’s lashes got SIMPLY from using this mascara, I had to have it. It is by far one of my top mascaras I recommend to people. There are many Seacret products I love, you can read about them here. You can buy the mascara from shopping this link here.
So that is my trifecta approach to repairing & regrowing my eyelashes after removing my lash extensions. These are also the perfect products just to grow your lashes in general. THEY WORK! My lashes are so long now & I owe it all to these 3 amazing products!
