So, I have been avoiding for a while facing the truth that Henri Bendel is closing. Henri Bendel just reminds me of New York City, my home, my birthplace, an iconic store. I have also been to their store in Short Hills Mall in NJ but nothing compares to their flagship NYC store.
I have acquired a bunch of Henri Bendel items over the years. Beach bags, ornaments, sunglasses, cosmetic bags, pouches, bags, etc. My sister is obsessed with their jetsetter bookbag (as are many of my friends) & has it in many colors.
I had a whole list of items I planned to buy once their final sale started, & I missed the boat on a whole bunch. I wanted to hang mostly travel items, carry ons, the weekender bag, hanging travel toiletry bags. All gone.
The end is very near, & it stinks. I was able to order one more item from Henri Bendel that I loved.

I love that this bag has red, pink, & the iconic Henri Bendel brown & white stripes.
