Fashion Friday: How to Find Swimwear That is Flattering For All Body Types!
Spring is officially here & it is almost April. This means us ladies are paying lots of attention to the fact that it is almost swimsuit season. This is no issue for lots of women but for tons & tons of women, it can be a stressful time.
Everyone wants to look & feel their best, especially in a swimsuit where you feel more exposed. Pregnancy, motherhood, getting older all change our bodies & that is just hard to ignore. BUT there is no reason that every single woman, no matter her shape or size, cannot feel comfortable splashing around a pool with their children.
We are all starting to kick our exercise regimens into high gear, & start shopping for spring break/summer. That means, SWIMSUITS! I have never ever been the type to spend over $100 on a bathing suit, & I do not intend to start now.
I am going to share with you budget-friendly swimwear that you can be comfortable in! Your kids DO NOT CARE what you look like. They just want to be with you & have fun with you. We have to get out of our own heads, put the swimsuit on, & make some memories with our little ones!
Here is the first set of swimsuits I found that I love!
These are high-waisted bikini bottoms, flattering on ALL!
Next are flattering tops to go with those high-waisted bottoms!
And now some one piece swimsuits!
When swimsuit shopping, accentuate your best feature to make yourself feel the most confident. You can show legs & hide stomach, or show a little cleavage & minimize your stomach. There are so many swimsuits that are cute that play up our best features while minimizing others!
I know I personally love swimsuits that have a little frill: ones that have ruffles, lace, off the shoulder, etc. And remember, your kids just want time with YOU when out by the pool or beach. They will remember the memories you made together & in the end that is all that matters!
Have you started swimsuit shopping yet?
