How To Maintain Your Eyelash Extensions So They Last! The Official Lash Extension Maintenance Guide!
So I am back in the lash extension game. This was my 3rd attempt to have them & this time they took! This time I really needed them to work! I have photoshoots a lot & was tired of using false lash strips. Lash extensions would just make life easier, if I can maintain them properly.
Eyelash extensions are a commitment, you have to get a fill every few weeks. I recommend every 2 weeks, for sure no more than 3. In between lash fills, you want to make sure that you are using the best possible products to take care of those lashes!
I want to share the products I have been using to keep my eyelash extensions in good shape!
- Mascara brushes, not just ordinary ones! Strong ones, with covers. I keep one in my makeup bag in my purse, one at home in my travel makeup bag, & one in my bedroom makeup vanity. These are wayyyyyy better than any one I had before, & hygienic with the cover so that I can keep brushes on hand when needed! Link here! Ask your lash technician if yours can be brushed while wet. Some places told me the specific lash could, others said for sure NO!
2. Eye makeup remover that is OIL-FREE! You do not want to use anything with oil near those pretty lashes! Luckily. the only eye makeup remover I use since I am a teen is oil free-SCORE! I couldn’t believe it was oil free but it is, and I love it because it never burns! It is a splurge BUT worth it because it works so well. I love that it is gentle, gets ALL the makeup off, & won’t ruin my lashes! Link here!
3) Lash Cleanser, those eyelash extensions need to be washed! I splurged on this one because the bottle will last a year if not more & it was made for lash extensions! It is gentle, works very well! Check out the link here!
